The width of the street is dangerous to pedestrians and cyclists and is inappropriate for an urban environment. The intersection of Mason and Fell is reminiscent of a freeway ramp, rather than the gateway to a great city park.
The sooner Masonic can be tamed and turned to neighborhood-serving streets, the betterYelapa Robhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13321468986593694938noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7569046838598986140.post-74154380265702715212010-09-28T12:13:06.437-07:002010-09-28T12:13:06.437-07:00In order to fix Masonic, attention must also be di...In order to fix Masonic, attention must also be directed toward some of the cross streets and feeder streets. Turk "Blvd" is set up for accidents, with traffic on Turk itself being way too fast. Northbound Masonic traffic cannot see over the crest at Turk, yet drivers are alwasys playing "Russian Roulette" by speeding up to try and make the green, i.e., YELLOW light. The lights at Golden Gate needs to be coordinated with the ones at Turk so drivers cannot gather speed going up to Turk.

East/West traffic on Fulton needs a fix for right turns when a bus is stopped at the bus zones.Leon Sunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13647473416531033455noreply@blogger.com
